What Solaria answers
How long can I stay in the sun right now without burning?
It combines the live UV index for your location with your skin type to tell you how long you can stay in the sun today — in minutes — and reminds you when to reapply sunscreen.
Which SPF do I need today, and when should I reapply it?
You get a safe-time countdown, an SPF recommendation and reapply reminders.
Am I getting enough vitamin D from the sun this week?
Solaria estimates the vitamin D you get from each logged sun session and adds it up by week, so you can see whether you are getting enough sun or too much. It is an estimate based on UV, time and exposed skin, not a blood test.
Is it safe to sunbathe at this hour, or should I wait?
Solaria loads today's hourly UV forecast for your location and shows how many minutes your skin type can safely take at each hour. If the safe time right now is short, it shows when the UV index drops and it is better to wait.
Is Solaria a medical device?
Solaria is not a medical device and does not diagnose skin conditions or skin cancer. It gives general sun-safety guidance based on UV data and your skin type. For any mole or skin change, see a dermatologist.
How does Solaria use my location and skin photos?
Location is used to load the UV forecast for your area. Skin photos stay on your device.
Which languages does Solaria support?
English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian. Works anywhere UV forecast data is available.
